Dr. John Kriak of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, commands 15 years of professional experience as a teacher and consultant in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Having earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University, Dr. John Kriak completed a residency with several Pittsburgh-based hospitals before beginning a college-level teaching career. In 2003, he joined clinical and business consultancy CAMMCO, LLC, as President and CEO and began providing his expertise in clinical program development and implementation and clinical and scientific writing to a range of medically oriented organizations.
Over the past eight years, Dr. John Kriak has advised CAMMCO’s clients in federal and commercial grant acquisition, institutional review board proposal development, pharmaceutical and medical education program development and integration, and strategic business services administration. In these capacities and in others, Dr. Kriak has worked with the American Heart Association, Inc.; Conemaugh Health System; the American Stroke Association; Arroki, Inc.; MountainTop Technologies, Inc.; and others. In addition, Dr. John Kriak serves as Director of Pharmacy Programs, Clinical Educational Consultant, Educational Board Member, and Pharmacy Club Journal Editor for Dannemiller. In the past, he worked with the continuing education company to achieve approval from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education to provide career development to physicians and pharmacists at the national level.
A longtime educator, Dr. John Kriak held teaching positions with Seton Hill University, Anne Arundel Community College, and Conemaugh School of Nursing following completion of his residency. Since 1995, Dr. Kriak has worked for Kaplan, Inc.’s educational centers in various capacities, including as a Director of Pharmacy Programs. Currently, he serves as a Kaplan Educational Content Developer, Educational Consultant, and Teaching Assistant. In these roles, he helps develop content and questions for US Medical Licensing Examinations and other medical and pharmacological licensing and board tests.
